Who We Are
Pest Control Technicians was founded by Joe Silvestrini in 1976. Joe graduated from Cabrini College in Radnor, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Pest Management Association and has served as an Area Director for the National Pest Management Association. Joe founded the company on the premise that there was a better, more scientific approach to pest management than the pest control industry was providing at the time. This scientific approach turned out to be the future of the pest management industry and the secret to our success. The US Environmental Protection Agency recognizes Pest Control Technicians as a Steward of the Environment for its creative and effective programs for the reduction of liquid pesticide use.

Our curriculum emphasizes proper PPE usage, chemical handling and storage, customer communication and service, and pest identification.
