Indian Meal Moths are the most commonly encountered pest of stored foods world wide. These insect can infest many types of raw and processed foods such as flour, cake and pancake mixes as well as dry beans and crackers.

- There are about 4 generations of moths per year with a female laying about 100 to 400 eggs for each generation
Fun Fact: Indian Meal moths were named by an early American entomologist named Asa Fitch, who found them infesting corn meal which was also known at the time as Indian meal.
